The Log Cabin (TLC) Campground is ideally located 20 minutes from Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, and is convenient to Baltimore MD, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh PA.
From the south:
From Interstate 81 towards Winchester, Virginia,
Just before Winchester, take the exit for route 37-N (towards 522) - this will bypass you around Winchester,
Next take the exit for U.S. Rt. 522 N,
Stay on U.S. Rt. 522 N. for about 20 miles,
Then follow the directions from route 522 below.
From the north:
From the Pennsylvania turnpike:
take route 70 south to Hancock MD
In Hancock, take the exit for U.S. Rt. 522 South
Stay on U.S. Rt. 522 South for about 20 miles.
Then follow the directions from route 522 below.
From the east:
From northern Maryland (incl. Frederick & Baltimore):
Take Interstate 70 west;
In Hancock take the exit for U.S. Rt. 522 south;
Stay on U.S. Rt. 522 South for about 20 miles.
Then follow the directions from route 522 below.
Or
From Northern VA and DC area:
Take Interstate 66 West, to Interstate 81 North
Just before Winchester, take the exit for route 37-N (towards 522) - this will bypass you around Winchester,
Next take the exit for U.S. Rt. 522 N,
Stay on U.S. Rt. 522 N. for about 20 miles,
Then follow the directions from route 522 below.
Or
Take route 7 to I-81 north;
Take the first exit after the route 7 exit onto route 37 south/west towards 522- this will bypass you around Winchester;
Next take the exit onto route 522 north;
Stay on 522 North for about 20 miles.
Then follow the directions from route 522 below.
From the west:
Interstate 68 to Hancock,
Take U.S. Rt. 522 south at Hancock,
Stay on U.S. Rt. 522 South for 20 miles.
Then follow the directions from route 522 below.
From Route 522:
At the Liberty gas station, turn east onto Reynolds Road.
Go a few miles and turn right onto Morgan Frederick Grade.
The campground is 1/2 mile down the road on the left.

Special Events - Bluegrass weekends!The Log Cabin (TLC) Campground hosts Bluegrass weekends throughout the summer. Come and bring your instrument and make music with us! Click here for the schedule.
The Log Cabin (TLC) Campground is also available for rental by groups including artisans, musicians as well as mainstream and alternative religious groups. We are willing to work with your group to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere. Just ask and we will work with you as best we can.

AccommodationsCamping
There is ample space for those who want to take advantage of the beautiful natural environment and "rough it" outdoors, setting up your own tent in one of our 30 tent sites. You get to "get away from it all" while still having the convenience of restrooms and showers available close by.RVs
For those of you who want some of the comforts of home, we have 30 sites with water and electric hookups. So bring your RVs, pop ups, and campers and come join in the fun.Meeting Places
There are numerous buildings for small gatherings on site. Each has a wood burning stove, a refrigerator, and chairs.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RatesRough Camping Sites are $16 per night for 2 people;
Water/electric sites $20 per night for 2 people
Add $1.00 for each additional person - 5 years old and olderDay rates are $3.50 per person
Dogs on leashes are welcome.

Nearby RecreationNearby Cacapon Resort State Park has hiking, horse back riding, swimming, boating, fishing, golf, tennis, basketball, and volleyball.
In Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, which is about 20 minutes away, one can visit shops and relax in the various spas, each offering a variety of health treatments. The area boasts three times as many massage therapists as lawyers and is home to a unique manufacturer, retail shop and museum of homeopathic medicine.
There is also Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs where you can enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking, horseback riding, and swimming. You can also go there to hear world class musicians or enjoy fine dining in their Treetop House Restaurant.
The Woods Resort, lies Halfway between Berkeley Springs and Martinsburg, in Hedgeville, West Virginia. There you can visit The Walnut Pub, or enjoy fine dining at Walden Restaurant. They offer many activities such as golf courses, swimming pools, tennis courts, a softball field, and basketball/volleyball courts, fishing. Indoor activities include swimming, a weight room, tennis, racquetball, basketball, volleyball, a whirlpool, saunas or massages. There is also hiking and mountain biking in the adjoining Sleepy Creek Wilderness.
For those of you who want to experience nature more fully, Avalon Resort is nearby in Paw Paw, West Virginia. They have year round activities including an indoor aquatics health and fitness center, a heated outdoor pool, tennis and volleyball courts, a fishing pond, an exercise trail, and a full service restaurant. They also have a folk music festival in August. They have day memberships for people who visit by the day.
